We may not accept 

the following content for distribution to ANY stores:

1. Misleading/deceptive content, including use of audio and art/cover/pictures and informations without proper license,

2. Soundalikes tracks, low quality tracks, misleading tributes and covers,

3. Audiobooks (any spoken word that is purely the text of a published book being read in audio format)

4. Karaoke, Karaoke with a lead vocal

5.  Generic concepts including: Relaxation, Generic / Repurposed New Age,      Yoga, Meditation, Brain power, Nature sounds, New Age, Workout / Fitness /, Subliminal Content etc.

/ Any pre-1965 recordings without prior Label Manager approval 

/ Public Domain content

/Fake artist names

/ Generic artists, orchestras, or performers

/ Duplicated albums: a duplicated album contains

    at least 50% of the same tracks as another album

/ Tracks that have been delivered more than 5 times

/ Thematic style Classical compilations (for babies, for study, for sleep, etc.)

8. Radio broadcasts and live performances without prior Label Manager approval

COVER ART rules:

You will need a square image for your cover art in either JPEG or TIFF format. 

- The file must be of 100% good quality (no compression) 

- The file must be RGB colour code

- The image must be a minimum 3000x3000 pixel and maximum 6000x6000 pixel.

- Don’t try to increase size of images that don’t meet the minimum size criteria.

- Blurry and otherwise low quality images will be rejected

- Image may not contain links for music store websites 

- Image may not contain references to physical products (e.g. CD, Compact Disc) or retailers. Nor may it contain references to content, which is not available with the release (e.g. DVD included).

- Image may not contain time sensitive information (e.g. promotion and dates for upcoming tour or concert).

- Image may not contain references to pricing (e.g. “Nice Price”, “Reduced Price”, Available for $12”, “Promotion only” etc. 

- Image may not be misleading, e.g. contain pictures or reference an artist who’s not a contributor on the release. info about artist and title on cover art and in metadata must match.

- Be aware that some stores have rules regarding nudity/explicit content. Contact us if you have doubts.

ArteSonus and all our distribution partners, DSP services etc. reserve full and unconditionall right not to accept and/or to refuse delivery of any audio master(s), cover and/or any other part of the release if it is deemed not to comply with regulations, standards or legal requirements, without limitation in any terms of style, performance, distribution territory or any other condition, regulation or rule.
